We have provided Heartland Blood Centers general information and frequently asked questions for your review. Reading the documents will assist you in the type of donations and qualifications for donating blood.

Heartland will have their Mobile Unit available at the VFW Post 5915 sponsored Health Fair on February 6, 2010 at the Dundee Township Park District Senior Facility on the east side of the building. The Senior Facility is located at 665 Barrington Ave., in Carpentersville, IL 60118 (click for map). The Health Fair will be from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. If the date is not convenient for you Heartland Blood Centers offers appointments at 2 locations close to home where you can donate at a time that meets the needs of your schedule. Please contact Michelle Dodd at (815) 477-0086 or via email at mdodd@heartlandbc.org to schedule a blood donation. Make sure to inform her that your donation is for the Carpentersville VFW Blood Drive.
